Una Mujer Derramada (A Woman Spilled) was co-commissioned by l’Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie (Opéra National Montpellier) and Orchestre de Chambre de Paris (Théâtre du Châtelet). It was developed through two residencies at the Gulbankien Foundation, with support from the European Network of Opera Academies (ENOA).

Working in close collaboration, Sivan Eldar composed the orchestral score, singer and poet Amyra León composed the text, and together they composed the vocals, which serve as the basis for Amyra’s performance.

Spilling into many, yet moving as one.

A sea of bodies. breathing, pulsating. one is swept away, while the other floats.
